MS Help Hub Volunteer

As an MS Help Hub Volunteer, you’ll provide emotional support and also help to give our callers the information they need.

You will provide this support primarily over the telephone, although we also offer support through letters, email, and webchat too. This helps us meet the needs of people who contact us by providing the channel that suits them best.

In this role, you’ll practice active listening skills and have the opportunity to have a range of different conversations. You’ll improve your knowledge on social and medical issues, including statutory services and benefits, and stay up-to-date with the latest MS news.

Most importantly, you’ll help make sure no one has to face MS alone. You’ll be supported by a team of staff, volunteers and specialists, so you won’t be expected to have all the answers and will be fully supported throughout.
